In the autumn in Árbakki there are a sort of routine. Then we start up the young horses, this year a very interesting group of Hnokki frá Fellskoti children and also two after Straumur frá Breiðholti, all very interesting.
But we also try to get some time off, even if that is not very easy since the export is really running this time of the year. So we went to visit our friend Piet Hoyos in Austria who runs a great farm there, one of the oldest at all in the Icelandic scene in Europe. We feel like in the middle of a postcard, the surroundings are so beautiful! Here on picture of us, watching the pace race at Piets Hoyos farm.
